Technologies that boost the low-carbon economy are largely the result of collaboration between start-ups that develop them and large companies that support and look forward to innovative solutions. It will also feature a report by the Startup Poland Foundation, answering questions such as what it takes to develop this symbiosis, what are the obstacles and biggest challenges for companies investing in low-carbon technologies, and how the energy industry can and should change with innovations developed by start-ups.

Deteriorating environmental quality, successive EU regulations or growing public discontent with the effects of the ongoing climate catastrophe are driving the need to implement alternative energy solutions. There is also much concern about the ongoing war across our eastern border, resulting, for example, in disrupted energy supply chains.

So, where to seek answers to the pressing questions? The solutions available today are largely the work of ambitious entrepreneurs from Polish start-ups, working together with corporations and providing them with the support they need.
